International organization for election observation leaves L�vov because of threat against its staff members A mission of the international organization for the monitoring of elections in the CIS states �CIS emo� left the L�viv region (Ukraine) because of continuing threats against its staff members. The group has arrived in Kiev. As announced to ITAR-TASS the leader of the mission,Aleksei Kochetkov, the L�viv oblast is not prepared for conducting the presidential elections on October 31st. In more than half of the electoral districts electoral registers have not been checked; and in 32 districts no one is working at all. The presidential elections in the Ukraine will be monitored by more than 180 members of �CIS emo�. Source: Radio Svoboda
