The Center for Interethnic Cooperation will Conduct a Second Series of Educational Seminars The Center for Interethnic Cooperation will conduct educational seminars in Irkutsk (May, 27-28), Krasnoyarsk (May, 31 thru June, 1), Astrakhan (June, 21-22), Pyatigorsk (June, 25-26) and Anapa (July, 2-3). Seminars in Irkutsk, Krasnoyarsk, Astrakhan and Pyatigorsk will be aimed at creating the Network of Ethnic Youth Organizations Opposing Xenophobia. The seminar in Anapa will be devoted to discussing preventive measures of interethnic conflicts. Representatives of authorities, the police and ethnic associations of the Southern federal district have been invited to this seminar. The seminars are financed by the European Union, the American non-governmental Mott Foundation, the National Endowment for Democracy, the Global Opportunities Fund of Great Britain, the German embassy in Moscow, as well as authorities in the Irkutsk region and Krasnoyarsk territory.
